Old Town Festival will return on Sunday 25 August 2024, thanks to a dedicated team of volunteers.
Organisers are promising a “fantastic day” which will get underway at 12noon, with the bell ringers from St. Nicholas Church performing a special peel to formally start the festivities.
For the rest of the day there will be two music stages featuring local bands and DJ’s, as well as a Ceilidh for both kids and adults.
There will be food and drink available with outdoor bars from The Clarendon Arms and The Virgins & Castle and tasty waffles from Time for Tea which can we washed down with some delicious gin!
The Fun Foodie Company will be selling smoked wings while Mike’s Mac will be providing loaded mac and cheese.
“This is the first year that the event has been organised by a small team of the local community rather than it being a commercial event,” the team told Nub News.
“We came together in March and thanks to the fantastic support of local businesses with our main sponsor being Pittaway Thompson Estate Agents, The Kenilworth Lions Club and Kenilworth Town Council we have arranged what promises to be a fantastic day.”
